REVOLUTION AND THE MODERN MINUTE "MEN"

I realize that there are many of us that are very dumbfounded over the culmination of this past election.  It is hard to understand, believe or accept that a man who had such a dreadful record and such horrid decision making would prevail and win.  Both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party failed the people in this election.

The Democratic Party failed America because the candidate that is continued in office does not follow the American dream nor cherishes the foundation on which our Founding Fathers established this magnificent country.  The Democratic Party has failed America because their platform intends to fundamentally change America from what our Founding Fathers had intended.

The Republican Party failed America because of an ego-centric elitist selection of the candidate the party wanted and they did not allow the people the privilege of selecting a candidate.  The Republican Party also turned against its own members who were seeking the nomination by withdrawing funding and by "trash politics".  The nomination for the candidate for 2012 was not an open and free selection.  The selection was made in 2007 when the promise was made that, if Mitt Romney would step aside and endorse John McCain, then he would get the Republican nomination in 2012.  Some potential candidates such as Sarah Palin saw the handwriting on the wall and chose not to run in a selection process in which the end had already been determined.

This is not meant as a negative protest about Mitt Romney (whom I consider to be an honest man with the ability to lead this nation) but about the Republican Party and what they have chosen to do by taking away the voting freedom of the American voter.

The Republican Party let down the American voters who supported Sarah Palin during and after the 2008 election.  The party realized that Sarah's strength was stronger than John McCain's and they allowed her to be thrown to the wild dogs of the media without defense....not only standing silently by as she fought her way through the attacks against her and her family but setting her up in interviews that they knew would be edited against her.

The ignoring of her at the convention was unthinkable and unforgiveable.  She was the FIRST woman selected as the candidate for the Republican Vice President and she was not even acknowledged in that area much less not being allowed to speak.  She should have been in a place of honor but instead was pushed aside just as she was pushed out alone to face the destructive measures of the media and the Liberal Left.

The Libertarian Party also failed the American people because the candidate chosen was not dynamic enough to attract enough voters.  The members of our society that are Libertarian are to be commended for their loyalty and their hard work.  They took a stand against the Republican Party and did not "back down" regardless of the outcome at the convention.

When Sarah Palin chose not to run, many of us were deeply grieving but the greater majority of her supporters accepted her decision and moved on to another candidate.  Unfortunately we did not realize that our choices were not going to be selected and our votes would not be counted until it was too late.

This time, this group, this effort wants to make a contribution early enough that there is time to overcome the Republican Party and the manner in which it chooses candidates.  Already there is great talk that the GOP candidate in 2016 will be Jeb Bush.  This means that, once again, the party will rule and the people will be left out.  The rules of selection and rules of the convention were changed this year to give the party the power over the people.  This must be stopped.

Those who believe that Conservatives can take over either of these parties are sadly mistaken, in my humble opinion.  The only time Conservatives are important is to have them join in the election process.  Once the decision has been made as to the winner of the election, traditionally Conservatives are once again pushed to the side and the more liberal members take over.  The elephant becomes the RINO every election.  There is already "talk" that the Republican Party is going to move into a more moderate position and away from Conservative principles.

So, that leaves a choice.  Do we just cave in once again and follow the dictates of these two parties or do we make a concerted effort to offer a third party alternative...a Conservative alternative?

It has always been my belief that we have needed three parties in America.....the Liberal, the Moderate and the Conservative parties.  Currently what we have are two parties...Liberal/Progressive/Socialist and Moderate/Liberal.  We have no Conservative party.  It is time that we do.

You will find posts on this blog about all listed parties currently in America.  We will post their platforms and if no platform, we will post their purpose.  We will attempt to pull together the portions of each platform that are conservative in nature so that a foundation can be built that will be attractive to ALL Conservatives.  Conservatives have allowed the media to divide us...into Social, Economic and Religious.  We are not three or more...we are one...we believe in the Constitution and the Republic on which we were founded.  It is up to us to pull all factions together.

Conservatives are not Republican.  Conservatives are Independents, Republicans, Libertarians, Blue Dog Democrats and Constitutionalists and just plain ole hard working individuals who want to have the federal government stay out of their lives.  We need to attract voters in each of these groups.

We invite you to help us.  We invite you to consider this option for the elections ahead....and we invite you to continue to pray for our country because America needs our prayers as well as our help.  Bless all Patriots who want to fight for the preservation of America as she was founded....not for America to be fundamentally transformed.  After the upcoming four years, the job to restore America to her greatness is going to take a major effort.  Let's begin the work now.
